I went to carnivale a Latin American Restaurant located on 702 W Fulton St in Chicago, IL📍
This spot was so beautiful and colorful on the inside- I can see why people would decide to get married here!
For cocktails 🍹we got their passionfruit and mango margaritas as well as their signature cotton 🍬candy martini🍸 All these drinks were so sweet but delicious! This spot definitely will satisfy all your sweet taste buds.
We got the the coconut🥥 shrimp🦐 as an appetizer. The coconut shrimp had an aji panca glaze and pineapple chutney. These shrimp were a decent size and a must get 9/10.
For main dishes we got the charcoal roasted chicken🐔and gaucho steak🥩 The charcoal roasted chicken had a romesco sauce, roasted potatoes, kale, and garden tomatoes. The chicken was cooked perfectly and the sauce was divine 9/10.
The gaucho steak was a 45 day dry ribeye that came with roasted garlic potatoes and chimichurri. The steak was the perfect medium rare and the chimichurri sauce complimented it so well 9/10.
For dessert we got the cotton candy with caramel popcorn🍿and the creme bruele🍮 The creme bruele was lemon🍋 flavor heaven and I highly recommend 9/10.
