I went to Davio’s located in Market Street in Lynnfield, MA this past Sunday to try their brunch menu 🍽️. To start things off, they brought to the table these delicious cinnamon sugar popovers 😋. Such a rare treat to get fresh popovers at a restaurant, I feel! 🌟 I will say the cinnamon sugar does go everywhere on the table, but it does taste sooo good 🤤.
For apps, we got the tuna tartare 🐟, which was very fresh and came with a few crisps. I very much enjoyed this, and even the avocado was fresh 🥑 9/10. For main dishes, we got the Grilled Chicken BLT 🥪, which had bacon, avocado, tomatoes on fresh focaccia bread. I really appreciate the housemade bread here 9/10.
The shakshuka 🍳 came with poached eggs, Davio’s pork sausage, feta, San Marzano tomatoes, and two giant pieces of toast. The sausage was the true star of the dish ⭐. I can see why you can buy the sausages separately too 9/10.
Finally, the eggs benedict 🥚 came with poached eggs, country ham, brunch potatoes, and hollandaise sauce. Those eggs were cooked perfectly, and they didn’t skimp on the potatoes here 🥔.
For dessert, there were so many options to choose from! From tiramisu to chocolate cake to creme brulee 🍰! It was very overwhelming. I decided to go with one I’ve never had before - the baked Alaska. I can honestly say that may be my new favorite dessert. Marshmallows, ice cream, cake, and frosting - a perfect combo 9/10.
If you are looking for a nice brunch and aren’t afraid to spend a bit more, I highly suggest coming here 🌟. All the food was very good, and they have multiple locations in the Boston area.
