Denko Puerto Rico

10-16-2024

Denko in the T-Mobile District of San Juan is the perfect spot if you’re looking for a unique, fun dining experience! 🚀 Your food arrives in a rocket, which sets the tone for an unforgettable meal. The atmosphere is lively and exciting, making it a great place to satisfy your sushi cravings on the island.

We started with their signature cocktails—the Love Elixir and Denko #75, both of which were absolutely delicious 🍹. For boba lovers, don’t miss the classic mango boba tea 🧋, which hit the spot!

As for the food, the Denko Roll was the standout ⭐. It’s a spicy tuna roll mixed with fresh local white cheese, deep-fried with tempura flakes, and drizzled with spicy mayo—9/10! Other rolls, like the Rainbow Roll and the Shrimp Tempura Roll, were also tasty, but the Denko Roll definitely stole the show 🍣.

We also tried the Denko Fried Rice with shrimp, and it was a solid 8/10 🍚. The General Tso Chicken, however, tasted more like teriyaki, which was a bit of a letdown (5/10). The Crab Rangoon was enjoyable if you’re a fan of real crab filling—6/10 🦀.

Food: 7/10
Ambiance: 8/10 (especially fun if you’re craving sushi in Puerto Rico!)
Affordability: 6/10 (a bit on the pricier side)

Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!
