I went to Diegos last week located on 11 Bowens Wharf in Newport, RI📍.
For appetizers we had their ancho pulled pork🐷 spring rolls🫔 7/10 These were made with cabbage slaw, oaxaca cheese🧀, pickled onions and citrus crema.
We also had their original nachos 7/10 with pulled pork, pico de gallo, fresh guacamole🥑, melted cheese, and scallions.
For entrees we had their buffalo chicken tacos, pibil cauliflower tacos, and the house smoked brisket tacos🌮 7/10. The tacos came on corn tortillas and were pretty tasty. I have to give props to them for having quite a lot of different ones to choose from!
On the side with the tacos we had classic mexican street corn🌽 8/10 This was a great dish to share amongst the group.
For dessert we had the churros 6/10 which were homemade and came with caramel dipping sauce😋
Bowen’s wharf has so much to offer and this is yet another spot you got to check out if you have the chance.
