I went to Dirty Water Dough 🍕located on 222 Newbury St, Boston, MA 📍 this pizza joint serves up a great variety of pizzas and sandwiches in downtown Boston. The name “Dirty Water Dough” comes from the “Dirty Water” song 🎵 which referred to the then-famously polluted Charles River. At the time, the water was considered too dirty to drink so residents of Boston started using beer instead of water to make bread🍞 This pizza joint makes its very own home-brewed Dirty Water IPA 🍺as the secret ingredient to their pizza dough.

For pizza I had their Blazin Buffalo which had roasted chicken, shaved romaine, Sriracha sauce, shredded mozzarella and Romano cheese. If you love a thin crust pizza then this pizza is just for you!

I also tried their chicken parmesan sandwich🥪 which contained breaded chicken cutlet, house red sauce, grated parmesan, provolone and fresh basil. An excellent option if you are in the mood for a sandwich instead of pizza.
