This past Sunday I tried Lamei Hot Pot located on 230 Harvard St, Brookline, MA.
If you don’t know what hot pot is-it is a cooking method that originated in China! Typically, there is a heat source on the center of the table that keeps a pot of soup stock simmering, and a variety of ingredients are served inside the stock.
At Lamei Hot Pot we had their fried crispy milk, dumplings, wild mushroom broth/beef broth, beef and lamb combo, hand pulled noodles and more!
This is the perfect spot to come with a large group of friends, family, or co-workers. You can easily mix and match items on the menu and there are so many great sauces/dips to choose from.
Don’t be afraid to ask your waiter/waitress what they recommend to get. They were all very nice in helping us decide what to try on the menu.
Also, you can easily take everything home for leftovers if you don’t finish!
If you are looking to try hot pot for the first time Lamei Hot Pot is the perfect place to do so.
