Local pride and fresh ingredients shine bright at Pie Guys Pizzeria, owned by the passionate and talented Matthew Nichols! 🌟 Growing up in Meredith, Matthew pours his heart into every pizza, using 🍅 Italian-imported tomatoes, 🥖 non-GMO dough, and 🍯 homemade sauces that bring authentic Italian flavors to town.

We tried two pies on our visit: 🥩 Steak and Cheese — Alfredo sauce, Philly shaved steak, caramelized onions, green peppers, and fresh mozzarella. Creamy and savory with every bite!

🍯 Pepperoni, Ricotta & Hot Honey — Cup & char pepperoni, ricotta, hot honey, fresh mozzarella, and homemade sauce. This one was our favorite! 🎯 The sweet drizzle of hot honey paired with the crispy pepperoni and creamy ricotta was chef’s kiss 👨‍🍳💋. Absolutely delicious and super flavorful!

The sauce itself is on the sweeter side — personally, I love a crispier base, but that’s just my preference! Matthew is even working on a sourdough recipe 🍞👀, and I’m excited to come back and try it once it’s ready!

🎯 Overall: 7/10 💬 Great quality ingredients, hometown heart, and a cozy local vibe. If you love a doughier, sweeter pizza crust, you’ll be in heaven! 🌟 Can’t wait to see how the sourdough evolves and to try more flavors in the future! 🙌
