I went to Pinky’s a new bar located on 269 Newbury St, Boston, MA📍

This classy bar features a great selection of cocktails🍹 and classic drinks🥃 as well as small bites to eat.

For cocktails we had the watermelon🍉 blossom which was grey goose watermelon-basil, st. germain, grapefruit and lemon🍋 8/10. If you love sweet drinks like myself then you will like this one! It has a nice sweet/sour kick to it because of the grapefruit.

We also got the good ol’ fashioned which had longbranch bourbon and molasses bitters 8/10. Finally, the gone shelling cocktail which had st. george botanivor, aperol vermouth, and cucumber 8/10. All these drinks were surprisingly under $18 and that is saying a lot for Boston (especially on Newbury street!)

For small bites we got the street tacos 🌮which had al pastor style carnitas, red cabbage slaw, pickled fresnos, cotija, on a white corn tortilla 8/10. The combination of everything made this taste really good (just wished the meat wasn’t too dry!)

We got the bianco flatbread🍕 which had mushroom🍄, artichoke heart, roasted cherry tomato🍅, arugla and a balsamic glaze 6/10 (this was just a bit too greasy in my opinion and also pizza competition is hard in Boston!)

We got the lil lobster🦞 rolls which had crispy bacon 🥓and shaved celery 6/10 (I think this just lacked serious lobster meat for the price!)

We got the three way sliders🍔 which had beef tenderloin and American cheese. These were delicious and I loved how it just melted in your mouth 8/10.

The el guacho🥩 dish was definitely the star of the evening. It was a petite prime sirloin with chimichurri. This was so delicious and the chimichurri was an excellent complement to the dish ! A must get 9/10.

Finally, the garlic🧄 shrimp🦐 which had dried chorizo, fino sherry, lemon and of course garlic. The meat and shrimp in this dish tasted excellent 8/10.

We all know Boston restaurants don’t stay open very late and this place stays open till 1am even on the weekends. I would love to come back in this place and have a nice drink🥃 with friends or family.
