I went to Sogno italian🇮🇹 restaurant located on 304 Cambridge Rd, Woburn, MA📍 just on the line of Burlington. This upscale spot offers a great variety of classic Italian dishes and delicious homemade pizza 🍕

For cocktails🍹 we had the Italian margarita and the Bocca al Lupo. The Italian margarita had tequila, amaretto disaronno, fresh lime juice and Italian blood orange soda 8/10. The Bocca al Lupo had ‘Into The Wolf’s Mouth’ bourbon, amaro canto, blackberries, fresh lemon 🍋juice and vanilla 8/10. These were refreshing cocktails that went well with our meal!

For appetizers we had the arancini which had cacio e pepe, mozzarella, and a fantastic basil🌿 almond pesto 9/10 (I wish I could take a container of the pesto to go!). I do recommend if you are coming here to try their pizza. The pizzas here are made with a brick oven imported from Italy and only take 90 seconds to cook. We tried one of their newer pizza options on the menu that had corn on it. Corn🌽 on pizza may sound a bit weird but it actually tasted fantastic because their pizza dough was so fresh/homemade.

For main dishes we had the veal🍖 chop with truffle🍄 mushroom risotto. This was the star dish of the evening! The veal was cooked to perfection and so juicy. It paired well with the risotto. I highly recommend this dish 10/10.

We also had their handmade burrata ravioli🍝 with had parmesan truffle crema and roasted mushrooms 9/10 this was so rich and creamy. You will be taking to-go boxes home simply because you won’t be able to finish.

For desserts we had the olive oil cake 9/10 and the zeppoles 8/10. A zeppole is essentially fried dough. These were served with orange 🍊mascarpone and a raspberry dipping sauce. These can be easily shared with a group. The olive oil cake was simply gorgeous to look at with orange rinds and edible gold on top! You’ll feel like a king/queen eating this cake 👑🍰

This is a great date night spot or a place to impress a loved one. They have live music monday-thursday! I highly recommend checking it out if you are on the north shore.
